Mike is the co-founder of Badfish SUP based out of Salida, CO. For the past 22 years he has worked as a whitewater park designer for Recreation, Engineering and Planning. His love of paddling began when he was an 18-year-old whitewater rafting guide in the Arkansas River Valley in Colorado. He soon got into kayaking and later stand-up paddle boarding and river surfing. Mike brings his passion for inclusion, deep industry knowledge, and non-profit experience to DW.
