Since 2020, Diversify Whitewater has supported over 800 BIPOC and ally participants at 25 events or scholarship opportunities. 

Through the generosity of top brands in the adventure and paddlesports industry including Immersion Research, Liquidlogic Kayaks, Kokatat, Watershed Drybags, Badfish SUP, NRS, Chaco, and time and donations from individual supporters, we provide paddlesports gear and apparel to each participant to facilitate their continuation of paddling outside of our events.

We also deliver on our mission through our Paddling Dream Package, which gives new paddlers the opportunity to apply for and win a full setup of paddling gear, including a Liquidlogic kayak or Badfish SUP, a Werner paddle, and gift cards to cover the cost of other gear. We had six winners in 2022 and plan to provide six additional participants with paddling setups in 2023.

In 2023, DW currently is planning 17 events or scholarship opportunities for BIPOC and allies. We are so excited for another fun and fulfilling year of programming across the United States.

We cannot deliver on our mission without the support of donors and volunteers. We are always eager to expand our community of supporters and look forward to connecting with you.
