Host an event with us

The 2024 Event Application period is now closed. Please contact info@diversifywhitewater.org with any questions.

Rafting

All of our raft trips begin with a “safety talk”, where participants learn how to get in and out of the boat, how to take efficient and effective paddle strokes, and learn important safety & rescue skills. Then, you will head down the river to enjoy the rapids!

Stand Up Paddle Boarding

Our lessons teach participants how to properly get on your board from shore and the best way to stand for the first time. You will also learn proper technique for moving your board forward, turning, and accelerating, and how to find your balance and effectively deal with obstacles and wind.

Kayaking

Participants will learn how to properly enter, exit, empty, and carry your kayak, along with proper technique for moving your kayak forward, backward, and turning. Eager participants can also begin to learn whitewater skills such as the wet exit, bow rescue, bracing, and paddle roll.
