Since forming in 2020, Diversify has hosted dozens of events across 15 US states, and we do our best to document each one. Learn more about a few of our past events below.

2025 IMPACT & EVENTS
In 2025, DW hosted 9 event days, awarded 4 scholarships, and ran one multi-session paddling progression program. Together, with the help of over 200 volunteers – from professional guides to casual kayakers – we helped over 600 BIPOC paddlers and allies connect & learn new skills in paddling, helping to realize our mission of building a culture of inclusivity and belonging on the water.
CALLEVA RIVER SCHOOL WHITEWATER SKILLS DAY
Our 5th annual event in the Washington, DC area, 55 participants got to go rafting and kayaking down the exciting rapids called Seneca Breaks.
NORTHERN COLORADO COMMUNITY RIVER FLOAT
Our 6th annual Community River Float on the beautiful Cache la Poudre, 18 rafts, 40 rockstar volunteers, and 80 stoked participants (many first-timers!) spent the day rafting and kayaking down the Filter Plant section.
PNW KAYAK PROGRESSION PROGRAM 2025
A 6-week program leading newcomers through all stages of learning to kayak from how to put on a skirt to paddling Class III rapids. This year, the program doubled in size, featuring TWO cohorts and supporting over 30 new paddlers!
UPADOWN SUP DAYS
3 separate days of on-land instruction followed by a group paddle to practice new skills on Quail Lake.
SEATTLE PADDLING WEEKEND
Participants enjoyed a two-day event paddling on Lake Sammamish and navigating the class I-II rapids of the Snoqualmie River while learning new skills with volunteers from the Seattle whitewater community. Our 5th annual Seattle paddling weekend.
ROCKY MOUNTAIN SUP SKILLS DAY
Participants enjoyed a two-day event paddling on Lake Sammamish and navigating the class I-II rapids of the Snoqualmie River while learning new skills with volunteers from the Seattle whitewater community.

FAR FLUNG ADVENTURES COMMUNITY PADDLE
A half-day guided rafting trip down the Rio Grande.
CALLEVA RIVER SCHOOL WHITEWATER SKILLS DAY
Our 4th annual skills day with Calleva on the Potomac River near Washington, DC. Participants had a blast learning new paddling skills while splashing through class II rapids!
NORTHERN COLORADO COMMUNITY RIVER FLOAT
Diversify’s longest-running and largest event, the Northern Colorado Community River Float saw 90 participants takeover the splashy rapids of the Poudre River with the help of 45 incredible volunteers.

PADDLE TRIBAL WATERS WITH RIOS TO RIVERS
Participants got to try pack rafting and inflatable kayaking with mentors from the Paddle Tribal Waters program and the Cali Watersport Collective.
